AqCenter Chatroom

There are a couple of easy ways to access the AqCenter chatroom, by using either of these two links;

http://en.irc2go.com...C&room=aqcenter

Or;

http://client03.chat...annel=#aqcenter

Or;

http://webchat.oftc.net/

You can also download mIRC.  This is a very reliable way to access our chatroom, and takes minimal setup.

1. Download mIRC it can be found at http://www.mirc.com
2. Load mIRC and fill in the settings under Connect:
- Full Name: Can be anything, using your real last name is not suggested
- Email Address: This also can be anything, it does not have to be your real email address
- NickName: This is the screen name that will appear in chat.
- Alternative NickName: This is an alternative, in the event the first choice is in use.
3. Go to 'Servers' (right under Connect) and fill in the settings as follows:
- IRC Network: All
- IRC Server: Click 'add'

* Description: AqCenter Chat
* IRC Server: irc.oftc.net
* Port(s): 6667
* Group: Can be left blank
* Password: Can be left blank

- Click 'add' to actually add it to your server list
4. Make sure that under the 'Servers' your IRC Server is now set to AqCenter Chat. If so, click 'Connect to Server'. This should allow you to connect to the correct server AqCenter is on, but not to the actual chat yet.
5. Once connected type /join #aqcenter

These settings will now be remembered, in the future all you will have to do is connect to the server, then enter /join #aqcenter

I'll make a point of hanging out there late afternoon/evenings US time.  I'm often back & forth between the computer & other things,this morning involved packing dry goods for a Saturday auction since the dogs woke me up early.  Tonight will be working with 25 pounds of blackworms for a Sunday swap.

Tolak - I have a Ipv6 BNC that enables me to always be on.  I can hang in the channel 24/7 thru mirc if that will help keep it up and active.
