Wow, some great growth over time.

Tell me something, how do you get past the ban on some aquatic plants in SA? I know Ludwig always is mentioning this being banned or that being banned...

oh okay,
in the first 2 weeks i used 2x10000K and 2xactinic tubes, these bulbs came standard with the light unit. I then bought 1xgiesemann midday and 1xgiesemann aquapink. I changed the 2 actinic tubes with the new giesemann ones. After about 3 months i changed all 4 tubes to 2xosram 880, 1xosram 865, 1xsylvania grolux. These tubes were HO tubes and i could see it in my growth. after yet another 3 months i bought an 6x54w ATI light unit and used the 4 tubes that i used last and added the two giesemann tubes. So now im running 6x54w t5 tubes at 8 hours a day.
I have a backlight, its a 30w T8 4000K.

Blimey, xmas came early for someone
Does Nasa know you've got some of their kit?
I'm presuming you hook up the fert bottles, then enter the required amounts via the touch screen (?), and bob's your uncle.
Makes me & my syringe look a bit antiquated

Thanks guys, this is a for me from me christmas prezzie. And yes, you just program the required amount of ferts per dose and then it does it on its own. also has a memory backup for when the power goes out. But all in all, a very very nice and practical machine.

The rocks are 20KG of ryouh stone. And i just love the detail on those rocks.
