One of my angel fish has a very swollen belly, fading of colour and loss of appetite. Hides away all the time, and seems to be getting increasingly frayed fins. The mouth is in a constant pout like state.

Any thoughts on what it may be and how to treat?

Water quality is nothing out of the ordinary, frequent water changes being done.

Sorry to hear.

I don't know what is exactly the issue, but I used Metro when it happened to me.

Fixed my angel right up. But, he was still eating and I mixed it into his food.

Unfortunately i found it dead yesterday morning. I think it may have been swimbladder, I'll have to try and catch it earlier if it happens again.
