update. if anyone is around. the plant is producing 10 babies ..5 are mature  already with  long roots , the other five are just sprouting leaves  with little roots

im keeping 5 to put in my other tank ..the other 5 i am willing to give away for free if anybody wants them .

another update .  my other two amazon swords have also produce flower stalks   theyre not mature yet .but within a week they will start to produce leaves ,,so i will be having a lot of baby sword plants to give away for free within weeks
.

Warning: most likely they will have Malaysian Trumpet Snails on them .

Forget it bri .the way you destroy tanks ,kill fish and starve your dog . You have a better chance winning the  lottery .Youre just lucky i dont call the aspca on your ass ..rotflol  ..just kidding

It might die and grow back ..I really dont know for sure . i never tried growing it in water first then putting in a pot for outside use ..But i do know that if you grow it outside then throw it in the tank it will grow back .the old leaves will die and grow new ones ..

if you want to try i'll give you some  . i'll send them out next week,i just want them to have longer roots(at least  2to3 inches long ) when i send them out .
