Hi, yes i have srarted a couple of tanks again, got myself a few catfish.

Only Corydoras Guerrero, 3 sterbai, ,4 Pandas, 4 black , & 4 albinos, a couple of guppies which have dropped there fry, & a couple of black widow tetras,

Sounds like an energetic and colourful tank! I kind of miss guppies but our water is far too soft for them

I USE TANK WATER WHICH IS FAIRLY SOFT, SO I ADD TH FINE SHELL GRIT, THEY USE FOR BIRDS, I PUT IT IN THE FILTERS , WORKS WELL.

Oh that makes sense. Maybe I'll be able to keep guppies again at some point

You only need a couple of teaspoons of fine shell grit, and when you clean your filter, use a bit of fresh grit.
